    Actions: Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antihypercholesterolemic, improves composition of seminal fluid, increases prostatic secretions, n-docosanol reduces prolactin levels thereby decreasing the synthesis of dihydrotestosterone and reducing the uptake of testosterone within the prostate (factors that contribute to BPH), prevents formation of intraprostatic inflammatory prostaglandins, prostate cancer preventative

    Indications: Bacterial infection, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), impotence, intraprostatic hypercholesterolemia, male infertility, prostatitis

    Preparation & Dosages: Standardized extract: 14% triterpenes and 0.5% n-docosanol, 0.1-0.2 g/day

    Chemicals & Nutrients: Pentacyclic triterpenes: ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, crataegolic acid. Sterols: beta-sitosterol, beta-sitosterone. Fatty acids: ferulic acid esters bound to n-tetracosanol and n-docosanol.

    Warning: Crude herb is not recommended for use.
